Supply chain planning is not only about advanced algorithms and complex supply chain models. It is also about helping users identify problems and finding a solution in an efficient way. It is also about understanding the existing plan and communicating it to others.
The OM Partners’ DAUX development team focuses on Data Analytics and User Experience. The team is responsible for the reporting components within OMP Plus (pivots, charts, graphs, maps, GREAT and more to come) and for improving the general usability of the application with developments such as dashboard navigation, to-do panel etc.
The DAUX development team also supports other development teams by designing and implementing user interfaces.
Role and responsibilities
As a Product Manager, you are responsible for clarifying and executing the company vision on reporting and user experience. You identify improvements to the software, prioritize them and make sure that the functional requirements are available. You also follow up on the developments to guarantee that the functionality fits the needs of consultants and end users.
You work in close collaboration with the technical product manager to create and follow up on the release plan. You also work closely together with a very motivated development team that is partly working from a foreign office.
You assist in setting up exemplary dashboards and reports for customer projects and for commercial demos. You advocate the need for intuitive applications.
You are also responsible for the knowledge dissemination of the topics within the DAUX scope. This includes validating manuals, technical documentation, preparing sprint demos and release notes. You also provide input to the various trainings where DAUX functionality is involved.
We foresee a phase-in period where you will be working as a functional lead on some DAUX topics. This will help you get acquainted with the team and the job.
You have a passion for improving the user experience of software and for providing insight into the plan. You have an eye for usability. You are familiar with other data analytics and/or reporting tools and have shown a creative use of these in the past.
You hold a master degree. Having a specialization in Human – Computer Interaction or Usability Design is a plus. You are either familiar with the principles of user centric design or are willing to learn and to apply them.
You are able to translate various user requirements into more generic, implementable concepts.
A healthy team spirit is a must to join the DAUX team. We take pride in our work and are collectively responsible for the results.
